LOG FIRE Available to use if there is wood inside. We will light the fire for you, if you desire. Only use the wood provided. Please, never try to dry any clothes near the fire as they could burn and cause a devastating fire in this fire-hazard area - use the dryer in your cottage instead. Sound travels easily in the quiet of this forested area, so while your cottage is completely separate and private from the others, many of our guests have come to enjoy and savour the silence.
LAUNDRYEach cottage has its own washing machine and dryer. If you wish to have fresh towels every day please pop them in the washing machine and then the dryer, or hang them on the old-fashioned clothes-line behind the laundry shed. They will dry on a fine day. Check the settings carefully before washing. Instructions on how to use the washing machine and dryer are in the second drawer of the vanity unit of your bathroom.

Thank you. Enjoy your stay!
IRONIroning board and iron can be found in the wardrobe of each room.
HAIR-DRYERIs in the bottom drawer of the vanity.
WINDOWSWe prefer not to spray with toxic chemicals, so if you keep your windows closed, you will keep the moths out at night, and other insects during summer days.
RUBBISHThere are eco-bags to put the rubbish in, beneath the sink in a small bin. Please use these and when full, tie the bag and place it in the larger bin just outside the door. Please ensure the lid is closed tightly to avoid visits by uninvited four-legged guests in the night.
